Can I check domain name availability?

Do
you handle domain registration?
We will register your domain name for you
at no charge.
Will domain names
be registered under my name?
You will be listed as the Admin and Billing
contact as well as the registrant. Online Resource Group will be listed as the technical
contact.
Will I be able to
move my domain elsewhere if I wish?
Yes. The domain will be registered under
your name and as such can be moved whenever and wherever you want at any time.
What is a NIC handle?
Every entity registered with InterNIC has a
NIC handle. You can use the same NIC handle as the contact for several domains. This way,
if you make a change to the NIC handle (i.e., the e-mail address), all domains using that
NIC handle will be updated as well.
Do
I need to cancel my account with my old hosting company before transferring to Online
Resource Group, Inc.?
No. We recommend you keep your service with
your old provider until you have transferred all of your files and your domain is pointing
to our servers. This will allow you to avoid any unnecessary downtime.
I don't have a website yet. Can I "park" my
domain at Online Resource Group until I'm ready?
Yes. There is a $40 one time charge for
each domain you wish to park.
Do you offer
subdomains i.e. subdomain.mydomain.com?
Yes. We refer to these as canonical names
or Cnames. There is a one time $50 charge for each one.
I changed my mind
and want a different domain name, what will this cost?
An additional setup fee of $50 will be
charged for any domain name changes for an existing web hosting account.
